The important questions have been considered

    The next meeting of the Management the National bank of Tajikistan with chairmen of banks, Association of banks of Tajikistan, Credit bureau, Fund for insurance of deposits of individuals and Association of the microcredit organisations of republic on “Situation of Banking system in 2014 and problems for 2015 has taken place in the morning on February 5, 2015.



    During interesting and useful discussion the chairman of the National bank of Tajikistan Abdujabbor Shirinov has noticed, that in previous year the legal reserve requirements for deposits in national currency has decreased for 3 percentage points, and in a foreign currency has increased on 1 percentage point, having established on level of 2,0 and 8,0 % annual accordingly. Actives and obligations of banks have considerably increased, growth of credit investments on all territory of the country is observed, and also the volume of deposits and attraction of foreign investments have increased in the credit organisations.
    A.Shirinov has drawn attention of participants of a meeting to some actual problems of banking system, namely to strengthening of requirements to risk management system at delivery of credits, development of a securities market and organisation of its secondary market, high percent on credits, expansion of cooperation of the credit organisations with Credit bureau and use by banks of their information, access to microcredits, especially in the remote mountain regions. He also has mentioned questions use of bank payment cards, wide use of clearing settlements, improvement of professional skill and professional level of bank employees, low level of granting of the reporting by some credit organisations, insurance of deposits of individuals and other questions.



    For improvement of activity of banking establishments heads of the credit organisations during discussion have presented specific proposals under the decision of problem credits and acceptance of measures on their returning, improvement of quality of service to the population by the organisation of a healthy competition, improvement of the banking legislation, organisation of Working group at the National bank of Tajikistan for the decision of disputable questions and further development of banking system, and also on legal reserve requirements and decrease in percent on credits.
