Meeting with representatives Japanese corporations
During meeting between Umed Latifov, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan and representatives of Japanese Bank of International Cooperation (JBIC), Corporation NEC (Japan) in Central Asia and Caucasus, OGAWA Seiki Co., LTD (Japan) in Central Asia and Caucasus and INVERSON TECHNOLOGIES SA (Switzerland) in Tajikistan which has taken place on August 26, 2015, there were discussed issues connected with financing of projects in various spheres of economy of Tajikistan particularly in sphere of construction and perfection of infrastructures of Tajikistan with attraction of grants, long-term credits and investments of the State Bank of Japan.
The representative of company NEC Japan in the course of meeting has noticed that in near future they would enter into cooperation between Chinese Bank of International Cooperation (JBIC) and banking system of the Republic of Tajikistan, including National Bank of Tajikistan for the purpose of projects financing in Tajikistan.
By the way, JBIC has been established in 1999 as a result of merge of Export and Import Bank of Japan (Eximbank) and International Fund of Economic Cooperation. This Bank is considered financial institution and belongs to the Government of Japan.
Company NEC is considered one of the largest companies of the world specializing on manufacture of electronic devices, computer and telecommunication spare parts. The annual turnover of this company makes USD 50 billion.
