On the basis of the Decree of Government of the Republic of Tajikistan of October 1, 2016, No. 408 "On issues of the State Service for Insurance Supervision" and Decree of President of the Republic of Tajikistan dd. March 13, 2017, No. 851 "On transfer of insurance supervision powers on insurance supervision to the National Bank of Tajikistan", the Insurance Supervision Management (hereinafter referred to as the Management) is formed as a structural subdivision of the National Bank of Tajikistan.

The functions of the Management are an implementation of goals and objectives of the National Bank of Tajikistan on insurance supervision.

The Management in the field of insurance activities in the Republic of Tajikistan ensures supervision, regulation and effective development of insurance services, protection of rights and legal interests of policyholders and the state.
