TOLIBZODA FIRDAVS NAZRIMAD
Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan
Tolibzoda Firdavs Nazrimad was born on March 11, 1980 in the Republic of Tajikistan. He graduated from the Eastern Mediterranean University, North Cyprus, Turkey by Major “Banking and Finance”, Master Degree Program of National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) (Japan), Specialty “Public Administration”.
Tolibzoda Firdavs Nazrimad started his career in the National Bank of Tajikistan since 2003. Firstly, he had been working as 2nd category Economist, Leading Economist of Banking Supervision and Licensing Department of National Bank of Tajikistan.
In 2009-2010 Tolibzoda Firdavs enrolled in the Master degree program of the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) Tokyo, Japan. After graduation until 2015 he had been working in positions of Chief Economist, Chief Specialist and Deputy Head in Non-Bank Financial Institutions Supervision Division and second Inspection of Banking Supervision Department of the National Bank of Tajikistan. Then he had been working in positions of Deputy Head, Head of Analysis and Licensing Management, Banking Supervision Department of the National Bank of Tajikistan.
In 2020-2021 he worked in position of Deputy Director of Banking Supervision Department of the National Bank of Tajikistan.
On January 18, 2021 in accordance with the Decree of President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Tolibzoda Firdavs Nazrimad was appointed to position of Deputy Chairman of National Bank of Tajikistan. On August 17, 2022 he was appointed to position of the First Deputy Chairman of National Bank of Tajikistan.
On January 16, 2024 in accordance with the Decree of President of the Republic of Tajikistan, No 681 Tolibzoda Firdavs Nazrimad was appointed to the position of Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan.
Tolibzoda Firdavs has been awarded with the badge of honor “Excellent Worker of National Bank of Tajikistan”, he is a member of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan.
He is fluent in English, Russian and Turkish.
