NBT put into circulation new coins by denomination of TJS 1, 3 and 5

With the view of maintaining of needs of money turnover in cash small denominations, including coins, and also maintenances of cash in a good condition and qualitative improvement of money turnover, the National Bank of Tajikistan put into circulation coin by denomination TJS 1, 3 and 5, and 10, 20 and 50 dirams from June 20, 2018.

Metal coins by denomination TJS 1, 3 and 5, and 10, 20 and 50 dirams of 2018 will be used on the same basis as coins 2001, 2006, 2011, 2015 and 2017.

The National Bank of Tajikistan will take necessary measures for transportation, accounting and conditioning of coins of 2018 issuance according to the established rules.

After applying to NBT credit institutions can receive coins of the specified face values to meet the needs of physical and legal persons in due time and without restriction.

It is necessary to note the coins by denomination TJS 1,3 and 5 and 10, 20 and 50 dirams of 2018 issuance are minted in the Mint of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, and will be put into circulation according to the Decision of the Board of the National Bank of Tajikistan, №84 as of June 18, 2018.
