The average rate of purchase and sale of the US dollar is unchanged in large

On 18 February, in the exchanges offices of Dushanbe the average US dollar rate was unchanged as a whole, though in second half of day it was slightly increased and fixed at level 3,79 - 3,80 somoni.

To stabilize the exchange rate in the country’s separate regions the National Bank of Tajikistan together with commercial banks has sold the foreign currency through their exchange offices.

In the interbank and intrabank currency markets on the spent operations the average US dollar exchange rate had some tendency to increase to level 3,76 - 3,78 somoni, which promoted to increase the official exchange rate from 3,7081 somoni to 3,7111 somoni for USD 1.
