Exchange rate of the Russian ruble decreased considerably
On August 12, the average buying-selling rates of foreign currencies in the exchange offices of Dushanbe have slightly changed and on the average made 4,4340-4,4550 Somoni for 1 USD and 6,2450-6,3150 Somoni for 1 Euro.
Rate changes of foreign currencies in the inter-bank and intra-bank markets testify to activization of transactions with US dollar and Russian ruble. The average rate on transactions with US dollar on the given segments of the market has a little decreased and made 4,4123 Somoni, and the exchange rate of Euro has slightly increased and made 6,3132 Somoni.
Now, due to the sharp reduction of exchange rate of the Russian ruble, in the basic markets of regions of internal market this tendency has been repeated, and on the cash segment of the market this rate has gone down from 1,4015 to 1,3740 Somoni, on the inter-bank and intra-bank segments of the market the rate has gone down from 1,4113 to 1,3882 Somoni for 10 Russian rubles. As a whole, following the results of the affected transactions, the exchange rate of the Russian ruble has gone down from 1,3859 to 1,3306 Somoni for 10 Russian rubles.
