SHARIFZODA FIRUZ HOMIDDIN
First Deputy Chairman of National Bank of Tajikistan
Sharifzoda Firuz Homiddin was born on May 23, 1984 in the Republic of Tajikistan. He graduated from the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics with a Master Degree in Economics.
Sharifzoda Firuz Homiddin began his career since 2005 as 2nd Category Economist of Non-Bank Financial Institutions Inspection Division, Banking Supervision and Licensing Department of National Bank of Tajikistan. In 2006-2014 he had been working as 1st Category Economist, Non-Bank Financial Institutions Inspection Division, Banking Supervision and Licensing Department of National Bank of Tajikistan, Chief Inspector of Banking Supervision Department. In 2014-2015 he worked in position of Deputy Head of Inspection Division, Banking Supervision Department of National Bank of Tajikistan, in 2015-2016 in position of Head of Second Inspection Unit, Banking Supervision Department of National Bank of Tajikistan.
In 2016-2017 Sharifzoda Firuz Homiddin worked in position of Deputy Head of Department - Head of Analysis and Licensing Division, Banking Supervision Department, in 2017-2019 in position of Deputy Director of Banking Supervision Department, in 2019-2020 in position of Chief Auditor - Director of Internal Audit Department and from 2020 to August 17, 2022 in position of Director of Banking Supervision Department of National Bank of Tajikistan.
On August 17, 2022, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Sharifzoda Firuz Homiddin was appointed to the position of Deputy Chairman of National Bank of Tajikistan.
On January 16, 2024, in accordance with the Decree of President of the Republic of Tajikistan, No. 682 Sharifzoda Firuz Homiddin was appointed to position of the First Deputy Chairman of National Bank of Tajikistan.
In 2021 he was awarded with the honorary medal "For Services to the Motherland".
He is a member of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan. He is fluent in English and Russian.
He is married and has got 5 children.
