NAZIRI GULBAHOR NAZIR
Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan
Naziri Gulbahor Nazir was born on September 19, 1970 in the Republic of Tajikistan.
She graduated from the “Sign of Honour” Order Khujand State Pedagogical Institute named after S. M. Kirov and Khujand State University named after Academician B. Ghafurov, by Major “Russian Language and Literature in a national school” and “Economics and production management”. She is a Doctor of Economical Sciences.
In 1992-2007 she had been working as a Lecturer of Oral and Written Speech Chair of Russian language and Literature of Khujand State University named after Academician B. Ghafurov.
From 2009 to 2011 she worked as a Lecturer and Docent of Economic Theory Chair of Finance Faculty of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Policy, in 2011-2015 she was a Dean of Business and Management Faculty of the above-mentioned University.
In 2015-2020 she was Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli (Parliament) of the Republic of Tajikistan, a member of the Committee on Economics and Finance, in 2020-2022 – a Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Economics and Finance.
On August 17, 2022, in accordance with the Decree of President of the Republic of Tajikistan, No 425 she was appointed to the position of Deputy Chairman of National Bank of Tajikistan.
In 2021, Naziri Gulbahor Nazir was awarded with jubilee medal “30th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan”.
She has been awarded with the badge of honor “Excellent Worker of Education and Science” of the Republic of Tajikistan, a member of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, knows English and Russian.
She is married and has 4 children.
