The Monetary Policy Committee of the National Bank of Tajikistan as an independent and constantly operating advisory body has been established according to the Article 21 of Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On National Bank of Tajikistan», Provision on Monetary Policy Committee of the National Bank of Tajikistan and other normativeacts of the National Bank of Tajikistan. The activity of Committee is directed on decision-making about formulating of monetary policy stance in order to preservation of price level stability for long-term period, also defining of its parameters and priorities for regulation of interest rate and maintenance balance in money market.
