Meeting of Mr. Jamoliddin Nuraliev with Dr. Hongjoo Hahm

Today, on March 16, current year Mr. Jamoliddin Nuraliev, First Deputy Chairman of the National bank of Tajikistan held a meeting with Deputy Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) within the frame of his official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan.

Mr. Jamoliddin Nuraliev, First Deputy Chairman of NBT has welcomed Dr. Hongjoo Hahm in honour of his visit to the Republic Tajikistan on the eve of Navruz holiday.

In the beginning of meeting, Dr. Hongjoo Hahm, Deputy Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) has invited a management of the National bank of Tajikistan to the Asia-Pacific Civil Society Forum on Sustainable Development.

During the meeting the parties have discussed development issues of current economic situation in the country, including banking system of the country and development of cooperation in banking sector. Dr. Hongjoo Hahm has provided information on banking system of Mongolia which is similar to banking system of the Republic of Tajikistan, and also has officially invited the National bank of Tajikistan to bilateral banking cooperation and especially in the sphere of training and participation in networking seminars.

It is worth to note that the aim of Dr. Hongjoo Hahm, Deputy Executive Secretary of the UNESCAP’s visit is discussion of issues of economic integration of the countries of Asia and Pacific region within the limits of realisation of the Program of Sustainable Development for 2030.
