National Bank of Tajikistan warns citizens

The National Bank of Tajikistan informs citizens that after the armed conflict on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border, some citizens, under the colour of providing assistance to the victims, took this opportunity to engage in raising funds sent to special accounts for victims in Vorukh area. Taking into account the operational data of relevant authorities, the National Bank of Tajikistan informs credit financial institutions and citizens of the country that they refrain from sending charitable aid to various fictitious accounts of individuals and unknown groups calling on people on the social networks to provide assistance to victims in Vorukh area of Isfara district. In order to provide assistance to victims in Vorukh area, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan has opened a special account, to which citizens can freely send funds.
