Consideration of the insurance system issues at the Tajik State University of Commerce

On May 6, 2021 at the Tajik State University of Commerce (TSUC) was held a scientific and practical seminar on "Insurance problems in the CIS" with participation of the university management, representatives of the National Bank of Tajikistan, faculty staff and students.

The seminar was opened by the First Deputy Rector of TSUC Saimahmud Saidov, who called the conference part of the events held in connection with the letter of the National Bank of Tajikistan on implementation of paragraph 8, Protocol of the 15^th meeting of CIS Interstate Coordination Council. It was stressed that the Tajik State University of Commerce in the framework of fruitful cooperation and implementation of educational plans and programs, fulfillment of instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan for training of highly qualified personnel will continue to make efforts to train professionals who meet the requirements of the labor market.

The First Deputy Rector of TSUC Saimahmud Saidov also has expressed gratitude to the leadership of National Bank of Tajikistan for continued support of scientific and practical seminar at the high level. Then, the head of the Insurance Supervision Management of the NBT Dilbar Huseinova has addressed the meeting as a representative of insurance sector regulator of the country and noted the organization and holding of the seminar an important factor in development and strengthening of the insurance system of Tajikistan.

Also, the topic "Insurance issues in the Republic of Tajikistan: situation and prospects of its development" was explained in detail by Dilbar Huseinova, through presentation made for participants of the seminar.

It was noted that the insurance is one of components of the economy and in the conditions of market relations contributes to the settlement of important socio-economic issues. In this regard, the National Bank of Tajikistan, as a regulator, focuses on strengthening the regulatory framework, creating favorable conditions for attracting more investment including foreign capital and free operation of insurance companies and training of highly qualified specialists in the insurance industry.

The National Bank of Tajikistan will continue to take necessary measures to ensure the stability of the insurance market, gain public confidence and, in general, the development of the country's insurance system. In the course of the seminar, the university instructors have addressed the seminar with reports and presentations “Development of the insurance market in Tajikistan: challenges and prospects", "Current challenges in the development of insurance market in the Republic of Tajikistan" and "Formation of social insurance in Tajikistan".

The seminar was summed up by the First Deputy Rector of TSUC Saimahmud Saidov, whose work was productive and useful for students - future specialists of insurance sector of the country.

We will remind that the Tajik State University of Commerce is recognized as a key institution at the CIS level for training, retraining and raising the level of knowledge of specialists in the field of insurance and makes a valuable contribution to training of future insurance professionals.
