Validity date of the Law on amnesty of assets and money of citizens has been extended for another one year

On the 19^th February 2024, the next sitting of the fifth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan of the sixth convocation was held.

The Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Amnesty in connection with legalization of assets and money of the citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan” was submitted and considered alongside with other issues at the session.   

It should be noted that given the positive result of mentioned phases of this Law, interest and appeal for continuation of this process and with the view of enrichment of national economy through further strengthening of investments attraction, in particular internal ones the term of legalization of assets and money has been prolonged.

The objective of approval of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Amnesty in connection with legalization of assets and money of the citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan” is to create favorable condition for return of assets, money and attraction of citizens’ capital to national economy, ensuring transparency, reduction of share of shadow economy and activation of investment for enterprise development.
