On annulment of the activity of “Contact” money transfer payment system

Citizens are informed that by Decision of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation dated February 21, 2024, №ОД – 266 the license for banking transactions of Kiwi Bank - an operator of “Contact” money transfer payment system - was revoked.

In this regard, “Contact” payment system activity was limited in all countries over the world, including in the Republic of Tajikistan and payment or revocation of already transferred money became impossible.

Citizens are informed that at present there is a problem of withdrawing money transferred via this system as well as refunding of transferred money.

The National Bank of Tajikistan has been controlling and monitoring the situation having contact with the representatives of the abovementioned system and works are underway to meet the system’s obligations to citizens. At the same time, additional information will be provided in case of new information.
