On September 24, 2013 at the meeting of the Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Mr. Abdujabbor Shirinov with the Head of Private and Finance Sector of the World Bank in Europe and Central Asia Ms. Paloma Anos Casero was discussed development of bilateral cooperation and its perspectives between the National Bank of Tajikistan and the World Bank.
    During productive meeting the parties has discussed positive results of cooperation between specialists of the WB and the NBT in sphere of banking supervision and modernization of payment system of the National Bank of Tajikistan.
    In this regard, for cooperation development Ms. Paloma Anos Casero and Mr. Abdujabbor Shirinov submitted necessity of implementation of financial sector project which includes development and market insurance supervision.
    In addition, during discussion of the given issue it was marked that specialists of the WB and the NBT will continue consultations and working meeting for achievement of positive results in abovementioned project.
