Parliament of Tajikistan has approved Law “On Islamic Banking Activity”
On May 14, 2014 the Law “On Islamic Banking Activity” approved by the deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Representing this draft law, Mr. Abdujabbor Shirinov - Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan has noticed that the economic world crisis in 2009 has drawn attention of financially developed institutions to work of Islamic banking which has successfully overcome the crisis.
In respect of the best practice, most countries of the world, including European Union, USA, China, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan have introduced Islamic banking into the banking system of their countries.
