The meeting devoted to the presentation of the National Processing Center has taken place on January 16, current year in the National Bank of Tajikistan with participation of heads of ministries, credit institutions, cell communication companies and international institutions.  
    The National Processing Centre will provide services to credit institutions for implementation of operations on information processing and also for performance of financial operations and clearing settlements in payment systems (transaction).
    Also the National Processing Center will allow performing of inter-settlements between participants of the centre in national currency through the National Bank of Tajikistan.
    As the Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Sharif Rahimzoda has noted during today's meeting, a main objective of establishment of the National Processing Center is to ensure independent platform not depending from external payment systems for settlements and minimization of risk of external factors influence on a payment infrastructure of Tajikistan.


     The functionality of the National Processing Center is presented by the full list of modern banking services such as cash issuance and reception, payment for goods and services, transfer of money from cards-accounts to cards-accounts, performance of banking operations through the Internet (Internet-banking), Mobile and SMS banking.


    The centre has wide technological opportunities for connection of cash dispenses and payment terminals of banks-participants and also for producing of payment cards, interaction with other companies on reception of payments for rendered services in various branches (Internet, mobile communications and others), connection to processing centers, which provide various services to banks of Tajikistan.
