In general, in the republic for the period January-March 2025, more than 252.7 million payments in the amount of 790.2 billion somoni were made through various payment methods (intra-bank, through direct correspondent relations and through correspondent accounts opened with the National Bank of Tajikistan). The number of payments compared to the same period last year increased by 86.8% and the total volume of payments increased by 55.2%.

As of March 31, 2025, credit financial institutions opened 14.7 million bank accounts for clients, of which 14.6 million accounts belong to individuals and 0.14 million accounts to legal entities. The number of customer bank accounts in credit financial institutions increased by 2.8 million or 23.5% compared to the same period last year, which indicates an increase in public confidence in the country's banking system.
