In the National Bank of Tajikistan the Round table meeting took place

On March 28, 2007 in the National Bank of Tajikistan State Unitary Enterprise “Young Entrepreneurs Club” of the Youth Issues, Sports and Tourism Committee under Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Center of Entrepreneurship Assistance and Development of Dushanbe have held Round table meeting on the theme” Banks and their services to entrepreneurs”.

In the work of the round table took part entrepreneurs of Dushanbe, regions of the Hissar Valley, representatives of commercial banks and international credit organizations.

Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Eshov D.K. opening the work of the Round table, has acquainted all guests with current situation of banking service, which is directed to small and middle business undertakings development. He has also noted, that during last years assistance to small and middle entrepreneurship has become one of the most prior directions of activity of banking system of the country. At the present moment in Tajikistan except commercial banks, 22 microcredit organizations, 37 microcredit funds, 6 microcredit deposit organizations are operating with financial service to entrepreneurs.

During the Round table meeting the entrepreneurs have exchanged opinions and they have told suggestions on increasing of banking service level.

In their turn, representatives of commercial banks and non-banking financial organizations also have brought their offerings related to modernizing of banking service quality with the aim of development the entrepreneurship in the Republic.
