Financial Literacy Festival in Danghara District
Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, on April 25, 2024, "Financial Literacy" Festival was held in the Palace of Culture of Danghara district. Representatives of financial and insurance credit organizations and development partners, including local and foreign ones participated in the festival.
First, Gulbahor Naziri, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, made a speech on the event's main goals, which are to increase the population's access to financial and insurance services, to present the services of financial and insurance credit organizations, as well as to raise the population's level of financial literacy.
Further, specialists from the National Bank of Tajikistan, representatives of financial credit organizations, successful entrepreneurs and representatives of foreign companies discussed various issues related to financial literacy, including increasing financial literacy, development of the securities market in the Republic of Tajikistan, digitization of payments, expansion of payment infrastructure, insurance, importance, benefits and financial instruments, fraud on the Internet and ways to prevent it and other issues of the banking and financial system, and expressed their experiences in this area.
Throughout the festival, many contests were held among the participants, and the winners received keepsakes.
An Exhibition of Financial and Insurance Products" was held during the Festival's second part. Financial, credit and insurance institutions, individual entrepreneurs showcased their financial and production items to the event participants.
It is worth noting that the event was also enhanced by a cultural program, with talented artists entertaining over 1500 students and teachers from secondary, vocational, and higher education institutions, employees of financial credit organizations, representatives of foreign organizations, and other festival attendees.
