During a working visit to the Republic of Tajikistan on May 16, the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Ms. Kristalina Georgieva held an open conversation with active public and government women at the Hyatt Regency hotel.

The conversation focused on issues related to ensuring gender equality in all sectors of the Republic of Tajikistan, including the family and the labour market, its impact on social development, the importance and main goals of gender equality, as well as other interesting and constructive opinions of active women about the country's development.

It is worth mentioning the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan - Dilrabo Mansuri, the Deputy Chairman of the People's Democratic Party - Khairiniso Yusufi, the Minister of Labor, Migration and Employment - Gulnora Hassanzoda, the First Deputy Minister of Justice - Nigina Alizoda, the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan - Gulbahor Naziri , Deputy Director of the Public Service Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan - Hilolbi Qurbonzoda and other active women of the republic participated in the meeting.
