On June 3, the National Bank of Tajikistan, in cooperation with the Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia Regional Capacity Development Center (CCAMTAC) and the Joint Vienna Institute (JVI), opened training seminars in the field of Macroeconomic analysis/Financial Programming and Policy for specialists from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Statistic Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the National Bank of Tajikistan.

The training was opened by Sirojiddin Ikromi, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, who thanked Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia Regional Capacity Development Center (CCAMTAC) and the Joint Vienna Institute (JVI) for organizing the joint seminar and also pointed out that this was the first in-person seminar of CCAMTAC in Tajikistan.
Sirojiddin Ikromi emphasized that the theme of the seminar is of great importance for the Republic of Tajikistan, because it is the financial programming that forms the basis for analyzing the current economic situation, forecasting its future development and determining economic policy measures.

The seminar runs until June 7. During this time, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the main data analysis and forecasting tools used in financial programming and policy and apply them in practice in the future.
Mr. Nurdaulet Abilov, Ms. Aliya Kistaubayeva (CCAMTAC Economic Analysts) and Ms. Tatyana Evdokimova (JVI Senior Economist) were invited to conduct the training seminar.
