Financial Literacy Festival in urban-type settlement Gharm

On the initiative of the National Bank of Tajikistan and representatives of credit financial institutions, insurance organizations and development partners, on July 25, 2024, the Financial Literacy Festival was held in the Palace of Culture of urban-type settlement Gharm.

 

First Deputy Chairman of Rasht district Handullo Sharifzoda and Head of the Management of Consumer Protection of Financial Services of the National Bank of Tajikistan Daler Murodaliev made a speech at the opening ceremony of the festival and stated that the purpose of the event was to increase financial literacy of the population.

 

Then, specialists of the National Bank of Tajikistan and representatives of credit financial institutions presented presentations for the participants of the festival on the topics «Development of non-cash payments based on modern technologies», «Prevention of financial fraud», «Importance of financial literacy» and «Financial literacy in business development», as well as contests on the topics of the festival.

 

In the second part of the event, a products exhibition of financial and insurance organizations took place. Financial credit institutions, insurance companies and individual entrepreneurs presented their products to the festival audience.

Concurrently, the event featured a cultural program and boosted the morale of the festival attendees.
