First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Sharifzoda Firuz Homiddin met with President of the Central Reserve Bank of El Salvador Lick Douglas Pablo Rodriguez, Chairman of the Central Bank of Pakistan Jamil Ahmed, and Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Muhammad Ahmed during the Global Financial Inclusion Policy Forum events.
During the meetings, the parties discussed issues of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of studying and sharing best practices of the banking system, including the development of green finance, gender innovation issues, establishing correspondent relations, building the potential for the development of digital services, and also assessed the importance of using best practices in connection with strengthening human resources in the direction of practical implementation of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Sharifzoda F.H., the First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, urged his discussion partners to enhance the level and quality of collaboration within the banking sector, highlighting that the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan provide ample opportunities for establishing a bank or a branch of foreign banks.
