Over 60 delegates representing member states of the EAG attended the seminar. These delegates were from diverse ministries and agencies within Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and India.

Representatives from the EAG Secretariat (trainers) shared their expertise and insights on implementing Financial Action Task Force (FATF) standards across diverse areas, including legal frameworks, regulation and supervision of reporting entities, and the legal foundation of combating money laundering and financing of terrorism systems. The event also featured practical training sessions alongside the theoretical study of FATF standards, providing participants with hands-on experience.

It's important to highlight that the primary document issued by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) outlines a comprehensive framework of institutional and legal measures designed to establish a robust system for preventing money laundering and terrorist financing within each nation and comprises 40 recommendations. FATF recommendations are a set of rules that regulate the activities of the financial and banking sectors, business, law enforcement agencies and list of measures to combat crime and terrorist financing.
