Discussion of cooperation issues with Mashreq Bank of the United Arab Emirates

On December, 2024 the Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Firdavs Tolibzoda has met the representative of Mashreq Bank - the global head of financial institutions and non-bank financial institutions, Mr. Aziz Ata in the framework of working visit to the United Arab Emirates.    

During the meeting, the parties had a fruitful discussion on the opportunities of opening correspondent and deposit accounts for foreign currency transactions as well as the issue of establishing cooperation between Mashreq Bank and banks in the Republic of Tajikistan.

The Mashreq Bank is one of the five largest banks in the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, offering a wide range of banking products and services, including retail and corporate banking, and e-commerce for banks in the Middle East and North Africa region as well as Central Asian countries.
