Dimensional gold bars – a highly liquid financial instrument

In order to regulate the cash money supply in circulation, develop the precious metals market, and diversify the population's resources the National Bank of Tajikistan has begun selling gold bars weighing 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 grams.

Dimensional gold bars of the National Bank of Tajikistan are manufactured at gold processing plants of Metallor Technologies SA in Switzerland. These plants hold a certificate from the London Association of Precious Metals Market Participants and meet the international quality standard "London Good Delivery» with 999.9 standard.

The sale and repurchase price of these dimensional gold bars is set daily in the national currency - the somoni, based on the morning fixing of the London Bullion Market Association and published on the website of the National Bank of Tajikistan (www.nbt.tj).

Dimensional gold bars are a highly liquid financial instrument that allows holders to keep them as a deposit or receive income through subsequent purchase and sale. Advantages of dimensional gold bars include:

• protection from inflation and economic crises;

• same-day redemption with payment to the buyer (subject to intact and undamaged protective packaging).

Citizens can purchase gold bars at the treasuries of the central office of the National Bank of Tajikistan, located at 23/2 Rudaki Avenue in Dushanbe, as well as at its regional departments in the cities of Khujand, Bokhtar, Kulob, Khorog and urban village Garm.
