Disaster Risk Finance Executive Education Program

On April 7, 2025, a delegation from the Republic of Tajikistan, led by Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Ikromi, participated in the “Disaster Risk Finance Executive Education Program.” The program is being held at the World Bank Academy in Istanbul, Turkiye.

During the program, Mr. Ikromi spoke at the second panel discussion about existing climate and natural disaster risks in the Republic of Tajikistan, national achievements, priorities, and goals for reducing these risks. He also presented the measures taken by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in this regard.

It is worth noting that the “Disaster Risk Finance Executive Education Program” will continue from April 7 to 11. During this time, representatives from 15 countries from the region and around the world will exchange views on using modern financial mechanisms, in particular Disaster Risk Financing (DRF).
