On June 16, 2025, the Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Firdavs Tolibzoda held a meeting with Mr. Leonardo Slowinski, representative of the international publication “The Investor”.
During the conversation, the parties have exchanged views on the need to publish relevant materials on the attractiveness of the investment climate in the economy, including the country's banking system, in this publication. The Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan briefly has informed the representative of this publication about the macroeconomic situation and banking system in the Republic of Tajikistan. It was noted that currently in the Republic of Tajikistan, favorable conditions and a comprehensive regulatory and legal framework have been created for attracting direct investment and free and unhindered activity of foreign investors in the economic sector, including the banking system, as evidenced by the significant activity of several financial institutions.
Mr. Leonardo Slowinski, in turn, noted that he plans to present the investment opportunities of the Republic of Tajikistan at the international level in the next issue of "The Investor" magazine, establish direct contact with the global network of investors, and attract the attention of the investment community to key sectors of the economy of the Republic of Tajikistan.
