On August 5 this year, the delegation of the National Bank of Tajikistan headed by Chairman Tolibzoda Firdavs Nazrimad visited the Branch of the German Federal Bank (Bundesbank) in Munich during a working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany. During this visit, the Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan met with the President of the regional branch of the bank in Bavaria, Mr. Reinhold Volbracht and Director of the regional branch of the bank in Munich, Ms. Michelle Kreusser.
The visit took place in the framework of strengthening bilateral relations and exchanging experience between central banks, and during the visit, special attention was paid to the activities of the central vault.
Then, representatives of the Bundesbank provided the delegation of the National Bank of Tajikistan with detailed information on modern processing technologies, security systems and money transfers, and issues related to banknote quality control and the fight against counterfeiting were discussed.
The Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan has expressed satisfaction with the opportunity to get acquainted with best practices and noted: "We highly value cooperation with our German colleagues and are confident that the experience gained will contribute to the further improvement of our activities, especially in the areas of regulation and control of money circulation and ensuring its security."
In turn, the management of the Branch of the German Federal Bank in Munich also has emphasized the importance of international cooperation in maintaining the stability of the financial system.
At the end of the visit, which took place in an atmosphere of mutual understanding, the parties have expressed their willingness to further develop partnerships and continue the exchange of experience in key areas of the central bank's activities.
