On September 25, 2025, the regular meeting of the Interstate Coordination Council of Heads of Insurance Supervisory Authorities of the CIS Member-States was held in Dushanbe.
At the opening ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, Daler Murodalizoda, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, has welcomed the guests to Dushanbe and has stated that he considered their active participation in the discussion and consideration of the meeting's issues to be of great importance. In his speech, the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan has noted that the insurance market plays a key role in the economy of every country, ensuring the protection of the interests of citizens and entrepreneurs, promoting entrepreneurship, and strengthening the country's financial stability. In this context, for the Republic of Tajikistan, the development of the insurance market is a key element in strengthening the national economy and improving the standard of living of the people. In particular, with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and thanks to the efforts of the National Bank of Tajikistan as the insurance supervisory authority, the size of the insurance market has increased approximately 4.3-fold since 2017, and the relevant legislation has been improved. The necessary infrastructure was also created, modern control methods and digital platforms for regulating insurance processes were introduced. Naturally, such measures significantly increase the level of trust among citizens and investors.
The meeting emphasized that the Interstate Coordination Council facilitates the exchange of experience, coordinates approaches, and develops joint solutions, as well as strengthens financial stability throughout the region. The Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan has noted that the topics discussed—from improving legislation to using modern technologies—create a favorable foundation for making specific decisions and further developing the insurance sector in the CIS member states. We remind you that the 21st Meeting of the Interstate Coordination Council of Heads of Insurance Supervisory Authorities of the CIS Member States and the 14th seminar of heads of structural subdivisions of Insurance Supervisory Authorities of the CIS member-states, as part of the Action Plan for the Implementation of the Concept of the Republic of Tajikistan's Presidency of the CIS in 2025, will be held on September 25–26 this year in Dushanbe.

The Interstate Coordination Council of Heads of Insurance Supervisory Authorities of the CIS Member-States was established by the decision of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States on June 3, 2005, on the establishment of the Interstate Coordination Council of Insurance Supervisory Authorities of the CIS Member-States. Its purpose is to integrate and coordinate activities aimed at developing the insurance industry in the region, improving multilateral relations between relevant authorities of the CIS member- states, exchanging experience, implementing educational programs, and addressing other issues.
