International Investment Forum "Dushanbe Invest-2025"


On October 15, 2025, at the initiative of the National Bank of Tajikistan, an industry panel session on "Financial Technologies and Innovations – Drivers of Investments into the Future" was held as part of the International Investment Forum "Dushanbe Invest-2025" under the leadership of Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Ikromi. The session featured investors, domestic and foreign entrepreneurs, representatives of international financial institutions, heads of the country's credit institutions, and private sector.

Opening the session, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan has noted that the development of modern financial technologies in the Republic of Tajikistan is a priority area of ​​financial policy and the foundation for digitalization of the economy and expanded investment in the innovation sector. He stated that the National Bank of Tajikistan continues its comprehensive policy of developing the payment system and digitalizing banking and financial services to ensure greater public access to financial services.

Speakers at the meeting included Ali Giyazuddin, a representative of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion, Madiyar Sharubekov, Director of VISA in Central Asia; Gulanor Atobek, Chairman of OJSC Alif Bank, Dauren Nasinbayev, Chairman of OJSC Freedom Bank Tajikistan, Nargis Podchoeva, a representative of the International Finance Corporation, Nurgul Torobaeva, a representative of REMIT PRIME/IFAD, Yulia Valentini, a member of the Board of Directors of OJSC Bank Eskhata, Muslim Dadaboev, a representative of “Real Trading” and Abduvoris Kalandarov, General Director of OJSC “United Exchange Broker”.

Participants have discussed key issues in the development of financial technologies, including the digitalization of payment system, implementation of open banking, cybersecurity, improving financial literacy and opportunities for attracting investment in the digital economy.

The presentations also assessed international experience in cashless payments, creating a competitive environment for technology companies, and expanding electronic services for entrepreneurs and the public. They also emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation between the state, private sector and international institutions for the sustainable development of financial market and attracting the largest possible volume of investment into the economy of the Republic of Tajikistan.
