On November 14, 2025, in honor of President's Day of the Republic of Tajikistan and the 33rd anniversary of the 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, a cultural and educational event was held at the National Museum of Tajikistan with the participation of the management and staff members of the National Bank of Tajikistan.
At the beginning of the event, Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Tolibzoda Firdavs Nazrimad has congratulated the participants on President's Day of the Republic of Tajikistan, emphasizing the importance of this historic date. He has also noted that for the people of the country, the life, work, and achievements of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, over these years, are a shining example of patriotism, service to the Motherland and society, and loyalty to word and deed.
It should be noted that in the history of statehood in various countries, historical and famous figures have always entered the political arena under extremely difficult circumstances, determining the stability and future development of their countries. One such figure is the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon.
It is worth noting that the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, has made a significant contribution to all areas of the country's political, economic, and socio-cultural life, including the establishment and development of the banking system. In particular, we have recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of the introduction of the national currency, the somoni, which is also an initiative and direct contribution of the Leader of the Nation to the economic independence of our country, has noted Tolibzoda Firdavs Nazrimad, Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan.
The National Museum of Tajikistan was chosen as the venue for the event because it houses a large number of photographs, documents, and materials related to the historic 16th session of the Supreme Council. It also has a separate hall dedicated to the activities of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, illustrating the Leader of the Nation's role in restoring constitutional order, saving the state and nation, and strengthening the foundations of national independence. This event will contribute to the educational development of staff, including increasing awareness of the Leader of the Nation's political activities.
Following the event, renowned poet and political scientist Abdullo Rahnamo, editor-in-chief of the weekly publication "Literature and Art," has presented a scientific and historical report on important aspects of the Leader of the Nation's political activities during the process of state building.
It was noted that the people of the country gradually accepted Emomali Rahmon as a capable and experienced leader, their true leader. Therefore, the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation" played a significant role in giving this historical reality legal status.
Director of the National Museum of Tajikistan, Zafarsho Ibrohimzoda, congratulated the participants on the anniversaries and invited those gathered to visit a special hall dedicated to the activities of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. It is worth noting that this prestigious cultural institution houses a wealth of valuable historical information and materials dedicated to the 16th session of the Supreme Council and the activities of the esteemed Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon.
At the end of the event, the Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan has stated that the people of Tajikistan believe in the honorable Leader of the Nation and value the achievements of independence. "I hope that banking system employees will continue to strive for sustainable development of the sector and the introduction of modern innovations with a high sense of responsibility under the leadership of the esteemed Leader of the Nation," noted Firdavs Nazrimad, Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan.
