Participation in the International Forum "Monetary Policy Dialogue 2026”


On June 29, 2026, in Tashkent, Firdavs Tolibzoda, Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, participated in a high-level discussion on Monetary Policy in the Context of Global Economic Instability and Digital Transformation as part of the IMF-World Bank Constituency Meeting. This meeting took place during the International Forum "Monetary Policy Dialogue 2026," dedicated to the digitalization of the financial sector.

The discussions focused on the prospects for using artificial intelligence and machine learning in macroeconomic analysis, inflation forecasting, banking supervision, and payment infrastructure development. It was emphasized that the use of new technologies should be coordinated with strengthening operational stability, cybersecurity, and effective risk management mechanisms.

It's worth noting that the International Forum "Monetary Policy Dialogue-2026" is being used as a platform for open professional dialogue, bringing together central bank governors, representatives of international financial institutions, leading global economists, and the academic community to discuss the conduct of monetary policy in the face of ongoing global uncertainty, structural changes in the global economy, and the rapid development of digital technologies.

Representatives of the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SSE), as well as delegations from the central banks of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Liechtenstein, Poland, Serbia, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and several other countries, also attended the forum, alongside representatives of leading research centers and international universities.
