At the initiative of the National Bank of Tajikistan, in cooperation with the Tajikistan Football Federation, and as part of the high-level celebrations for the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, an open futsal tournament—the "National Bank of Tajikistan Cup"—was held from August 8 to October 18, 2026. The tournament was open to employees of credit institutions based in Dushanbe and the Districts of Republican Subordination.
Fifteen teams participated in the competition. The final stage took place at the Sports Complex of the Tax Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, where Humo Bank and Bank Eskhata competed for third place, while the National Bank of Tajikistan and Orienbank faced off for the tournament trophy
In the match for third place, Humo Bank defeated Bank Eskhata with a score of 7:1. In the final, the National Bank of Tajikistan team won against the team of Orienbank with a score 3:2, receiving the prize – Cup of National Bank of Tajikistan.
Consequently, the National Bank of Tajikistan team took first place, Orienbank took second, and "Humo Bank" took third place.
Organizing such sport events is aimed at fostering the development of sports, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and strengthening cooperation and friendship among employees of the country's credit institutions.
