European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (ЕBRD) continues to render support of development of international trade in Tajikistan through allocation of financing and the organisation of curriculums.
Today, on March, 30th, within the framework of the Trade Facilitation Program (TFP) the given Bank has established a new line on trade financing for Joint-Stock Company "AccessBank-Tajikistan".
On the same day in National bank of Tajikistan, in partnership with Association of banks of Tajikistan, EBRD has held a seminar devoted to new rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) on application of the International Standard Banking Practice (ISBP).
“We are very glad, that we were presented the possibility to carry out today's event due to which commercial banks could receive the live information and their employees be trained in the field of last changes of banking practice”, - said Abdujabbor Shirinov, Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan during the event.
The EBRD Country Manager in Dushanbe Richard Johns has noted, that rendering of technical assistance and carrying out of trainings, like a seminar on TFP, are an integral part of mission of the EBRD in Tajikistan. Also, as he said about 40 experts in financing of trade and bankers from more than ten local banks have participated in seminar work.
