During the meeting the Parties have exchanged the views on establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation and attraction of long-term investments to the country’s economy
At the beginning of meeting Mr. J. Nurmahmadzoda familiarized the guests with current macroeconomic situation and achievements in the banking system of the country. It was stated that currently certain actions undertaken for stability of banking system of the country and reforms in this direction proceeding. As the result the total capital of credit institutions, attracted deposits of population to the banks and funds granted to population as credit have increased noticeably. During the first four months of current year in comparison with similar period of last year the export volume has increased and import volume has decreased. Reasonable efforts are undertaken for development of secondary security market.
The Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan has noted that Tajikistan and the State Development Bank of China maintain mutually beneficial cooperation. For the further extension of existing cooperation the National Bank of Tajikistan needs the issuance of long-term credit by the State Development Bank of China for support of small and medium business, maintenance of Balance of Payments and exchange rate of national currency.
The Head of official delegation, Vice-President of the State Development Bank of China, Mr. Zhao Xiaoyu said that a stable basis is laid for maintenance of long-term cooperation between our countries. He has stated that credit portfolio of their Bank makes more than USD 300 billion. Therefore, we can provide privileges while investment of beneficial projects on different fields of economy and distribution of credits. The purpose of our visit is to study and to be familiarized with economic situation of the Republic of Tajikistan. We are ready to review all your proposals, has noted again Mr. Zhao Xiaoyu.
At the end of useful meeting the Parties have discussed matter on enhancement of bilateral cooperation, and other aspects of mutual interest.

Cooperation between the NBT and the State Development Bank of China is developing
Today, on May 18, 2015 the meeting between Mr. Jamshed Nurmahmadzoda, Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan and official delegation of the State Development Bank of China chaired by Mr. Zhao Xiaoyu – the Vice-President of the abovementioned bank took place in the bank.
