Bankers have discussed issues connected with Blumberg and Thomson Reuters production

Issues connected with introduction of a uniform trading platform for implementation of monetary operations of the National Bank and credit institutions of the republic, improvement of monetary tools, securities trading, conducting of foreign exchange transactions and their control in the interbank markets and other issues of cooperation have been discussed at the next meeting which has passed under the guidance of Mr. Jamoliddin Nuraliev, First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan with participation of representatives of the credit institutions, experts of leading world companies Blumberg and Thomson Reuters.

During the meeting, representatives of Blumberg and Thomson Reuters presented production and have noted quality and advantages of use of their production. At the same time, experts of the credit institutions for the purpose of maximum information reception on offered production put questions to experts of these companies, having received corresponding answers.

In the process of discussion, the attention of Blumberg and Thomson Reuters’ representatives have been directed on increase in privileges on use of terminals for all credit institutions without payment of commission services, reduction of prices on monthly service of electronic system and other aspects of the uniform trading platform activity.

Thus, participants of meeting have noticed that some banks of the republic are already familiar with Thomson Reuters’ programs and by these programs carry outs foreign exchange transactions.

In the end of meeting, after discussion of offered production of the above-named companies, representatives of the credit institutions due to acceptability of payment for services of terminals have voted for use of production of Thomson Reuters and have chose it as the uniform platform for system of the electronic auctions. Also during meeting it was decided that credit institutions should begin cooperation with the Thomson Reuters.
