Cooperation with the World Bank

Today, on August 26, 2015 in the NBT has take place meeting of Umed Latifov, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan with Mrs. Patricia Vivers-Karter, Head of permanent representation of the World Bank in the Republic of Tajikistan, economists of the World Bank Marina Bakanova and Ravshan Sobirzoda.

During meeting there were discussed topical issues, including last economic events in the world markets: review of economic issues and risks for Tajikistan, monetary and currency policy, development of financial sector and realization of the Program of financial sector estimation, and also the offer on rendering of technical assistance.

Representatives of the World Bank have expressed satisfactions concerning discussed issues, especially level of cooperation with the National Bank of Tajikistan. In particular, Head of permanent representation of the World Bank has noticed that the issues on providing technical assistance for improvement of infrastructure of the National Bank of Tajikistan will be considered.
