NBT will continue beneficial cooperation with the international financial institutions

During meeting of the NBT’s Management with representatives of the International organizations such as: World Bank Group, IMF, EBRD, ADB, International Development Agency of the Great Britain, International Financial Corporation, State Secretary on International Relations of Switzerland and GIZ which has taken place on September 22, 2015, where considered the issues connected with bilateral cooperation for attraction and realization of technical assistance.

In the beginning of the meeting, NBT’s Management underlined that cooperation between NBT and International financial organizations have been improving every year, and IFO renders financial assistance in formation of the country’s banking structure. During familiarization of participants with the Strategy of financial restructuring of the National Bank of Tajikistan, it was noticed that for realization of long-term development plan for the NBT required technical assistance of the international financial institutions.

In the course of discussion of cooperation issues, representatives of the international financial organizations have declared that Strategy of financial restructuring of the NBT is important and timely document, and they will consider issues on granting of technical assistance together with their organizations.

Also it has been noticed that negotiations on this issues will be continued and next meeting with representatives of the international financial institutions will take place in near months.
