Meeting with the representatives of Islamic Development Bank Group

Today, on March 2 of current year the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Mr. Jamoliddin Nuraliev has carried out the working meeting with the Head of Mission of the Islamic Development Bank Group, Director of programs Mr. Muhammad Jamal Al-Saati, which has arrived to our republic for one week visit to analysis priority investment projects of the country, search of relation extension with state and private structures. 

During the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan has expressed satisfaction of bilateral relations, and noticed the availability of banking system of the country for realization of closer cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank, and appealed the visitors to promote efforts in the given direction. He also has underlined, the National Bank of Tajikistan needs in assistance in rendering of consulting services for development targets of normative legal acts on Islamic banking and professional improvements of banking experts.

During the meeting parties have discussed the issues on establishing mutual beneficial cooperation, rendering of technical support, working out and realization of new investment projects in banking sector. 

The Head of Mission of the Islamic Development Bank Group Mr. Muhammad Jamal Al-Saati has expressed satisfaction of cooperation with the credit institution and banking system of the country, and has noticed, for clear and final definition of direction of activities in April of current year, a group of professional specialists of the Islamic Development Bank will come to Dushanbe.

During the exchange of opinion Mr. Jamoliddin Nuraliev and representatives of the International Islamic Trade Financing Corporation (ITFC), Islamic Corporation Development of Private Sector (ICD), which are a part of the abovementioned mission, have discussed the new priority directions of cooperation of the National Bank of Tajikistan and Islamic Development Bank.
