Sirojiddin Ikromi met with Oleg Hirbu, EC Adviser

On May 17, 2017 meeting of the Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan with EC delegation, led by Mr. Oleg Hirbu, EC Adviser on Budget Support and Public financial Management (PFM) in CA has taken place in the National Bank of Tajikistan.

The given meeting passed in framework of talks of Mr. Nematullo Hikmatullozoda, Minister of Economic development and trade of the Republic of Tajikistan with Mr. Manservisi, General Director, EC International Development and Cooperation which have taken place on May 5, 2017 in Yokohama.

During a meeting Mr. Sirojiddin Ikromi, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan has acquainted EC delegation with current macroeconomic situation in Tajikistan, and having noted, that notwithstanding of crisis factors influence the reform in banking system of country is carried out step by step.

In turn Mr. Oleg Hirbu has declared that the goal of EC delegation’s visit is discussion of economic situation in the Republic of Tajikistan, and also discussion of reforms in sphere of PFM and next EC tranche on state budget support.

It is necessary to note that at this meeting Mr. Oleg Hirbu, EC Adviser on Budget Support and Public financial Management (PFM) in CA was accompanied by Mr. Machej Madalinski, Head of Cooperation Department, Ms. Daniela Chempelova, Project Manager and Mr. Gnel Sedrakyan, PFM Adviser.
