International Payment System of Money Transfer Unistream has reduced the fee of money transfer for the Republic of Tajikistan

On December 5, 2019, the First Deputy Chairman of National Bank of Tajikistan Mr.Jamoliddin Nuraliev held the working meeting with Mr. Kirill Palchun, President of Iinternational Payment System Unistream. During the meeting, parties have considered the issues of strengthening cooperation and expanding the services sector, reducing costs and simplifying money transfer and other services through the Unistream Payment System in cooperation with the country's banking system.

Mr.Jamoliddin Nuraliev, First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan has called for lowering the fees of money transfer services in the Republic of Tajikistan in order to increase a public confidence to the banking system.

Mr. Kirill Palchun, President of Unistream International Payment System, in turn, has expressed his readiness for strengthening cooperation with the National Bank of Tajikistan and supported the call of the National Bank of Tajikistan to reduce the fees of money transfers in order to expand further effective cooperation between the parties. It was noted that prior to the work of the National Processing Center for money transfers, the Unistream fee has averaged 1.5% for Tajikistan, after connecting to this Center and supporting the proposal of the National Bank of Tajikistan by the President of this payment system it will be reduced by 0.99% since December 6, 2019. By the suggestion of Mr.Jamoliddin Nuraliev, First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan and on the base of consent of Mr.Kirill Palchun, President of the Unistream International Payment System, in the future, the fee of money transfer services up to 5 thousand rubles, which previously has made 100 Russian rubles, will make 50 Russian rubles and such discount shall be applied at the network of Unistream service points. As noted by Mr. Kirill Palchun, the Unistream International Payment System has created a wide customers service network; it has more than 15 thousand money transfer points in the Russian Federation (MTS - 4300; Tele2-2150; PostBank (Russian Post) - 4600 and others .). Mr. Kirill Palchun also has expressed interest in expanding cooperation with credit institutions of Tajikistan, intensifying activities on the payment card market, including Korti Milli.

In the final part of the meeting, Mr. Jamoliddin Nuraliev, the First Deputy Chairman of National Bank of Tajikistan has noted that cooperation with the Unistream Payment System in the framework of the National Processing Center for money transfers is carried out with the aim of implementing reforms of the National Bank of Tajikistan that will ensure the development of money transfer market, as an important sphere for the National Bank of Tajikistan.

Mr.Kirill Palchun, President of the Unistream International Payment System, has assessed the activities of National Processing Center very positively, which has no analogues in the world, calling it an innovation in banking and development of money transfers market that guarantee financial security of cross-border money transfers.
