License issuance to the OJSC “Alif Bank”

According to the Article 42 of Law of the RT «On National Bank of Tajikistan», Article 13 of Law of the RT ««On microfinancing institutions» and Articles 7, 10, 15 and 27 of Law of the RT «On Banking Activities” by the Resolution of Board of the NBT dd. from January 3, 2020, No.1 the Open Joint-stock Company «Alif Bank» was issued the license for effecting banking operations in national and foreign currencies.

Chairman of the NBT Jamshed Nurmahmadzoda during awarding the license for effecting banking operations has given corresponding instructions to Chairman of the Open Joint-stock Company «Alif Bank» Abdullo Qurbonov for expansion of activity including opening of regional structural subdivisions and increasing provided banking services especially in lending sphere.

In accordance with the above-mentioned Resolution the license issued to the OJSC MDI «Alif Sarmoya» for effecting banking operations by the Resolution of Board of the NBT dd.from 05.07. 2019, №75, has become invalid in connection with its transformation into bank.

The OJSC MDI «Alif Sarmoya» has completed all necessary procedures in connection with its transformation into bank (OJSC «Аlif Bank») in accordance with the legislation requirements.
