Extract from the Rules on establishing qualification eligibility requirements

Extract from the Rules on establishing qualification requirements for a Liquidator, Special Administrator of a credit institution and Procedures for obtaining a certificate of the National Bank of Tajikistan

1. The liquidator and the special administrator must meet the following requirements:

- He/she shall have a higher economic or higher legal education;

- He/she shall have at least five years of working experience in positions of Economist, Accountant, Auditor, Lawyer;

- He/she shall have a certificate of no criminal record in committing the intentional crimes or crimes of a corruption nature;

- He/she shall not be declared bankrupt by the court decision during last seven years;

-He/she shall not be deprived by the court of the right to carry out certain activities or the right to occupy a certain position;

- He/she shall have sufficient knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan on activities of credit institutions and their liquidation.

2. The procedure for obtaining a certificate of liquidator and special administrator

In order to obtain a liquidator or special administrator certificate, candidates shall apply to the National Bank of Tajikistan and submit the following documents:

- a copy of passport;

- a copy of the work records book;

- a copy of diploma confirming the availability of higher economic or legal education;

- a certificate of no criminal record in committing intentional crimes or crimes of a corruption nature.

In the application, candidate must specifically indicate the type of certificate required (liquidator or special administrator).

The application of the candidate shall be considered by the National Bank of Tajikistan within a month.

After certification passed in accordance with the Resolution of Board of the National Bank of Tajikistan, candidates are issued qualification certificates of a liquidator and a special administrator.
