Consultations of the representatives of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan in the NBT

On August 23, 2023, the National Bank of Tajikistan hosted a meeting of heads of key ministries and committees of the country and the National Bank of Tajikistan with representatives of theRepublic of Kazakhstan headed by the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Rk Musin Bagdat Batyrbekovich.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of digitalization of public services.

After welcoming the Kazakh guests, the Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Kholiqzoda Hokim Hikmatullo expressed hope that the working visit of the delegation would create a favorable ground for the introduction of e-government and cashless settlements.

It was emphasized that the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan today have established good business relations in almost all directions, which will give a serious impetus to expanding and strengthening cooperation in the development of digital financial services.

Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Musin Bagdat Batyrbekovich in turn thanked for the organization of the meeting and said that today's event provides practical assistance in accelerating the implementation of e-government.

It was noted that today the Republic of Kazakhstan ranks eighth in the world in the provision of online services, tenth place in the implementation of e-government and thirtieth place in information security, which indicates a high level of development of digital technology in this country.

It is thanks to the implementation of e-government for several years in the Republic of Kazakhstan such services as documentation for the acquisition and re-registration of property, including the purchase and sale of movable property, vehicles, education and health services, obtaining licenses for individuals and legal entities, payment of taxes, civil registry services, obtaining mortgages and other necessary documents are made in digital format.

The parties also discussed the issues of database security, processing and access to databases.

The representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed their readiness to share their experience with the specialists of the Republic of Tajikistan in this direction. In particular, they are ready to organize seminars and training courses both in the Republic of Tajikistan and in the Republic of Kazakhstan to train specialists in the field of e-government.

At the end, representatives of the Republic of Tajikistan - Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Ashuriyon, Minister of Industry and Development of New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan Sherali Kabir, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Fayziddin Qahhorzoda, Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan Sa'di Kodirzoda, Director of the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Jamshed Nurmakhmadzoda expressed their views on the development of digitalization and e-government.
