Hokim Kholiqzoda meets with representatives of “Bank Freedom Finance Kazakhstan" JSC

On September 20, 2023 Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Kholiqzoda Hokim Hikmatullo held a meeting with representatives of Joint Stock Company "Bank Freedom Finance Kazakhstan", headed by the Head of this joint stock company Aidos Zhumagulov.

The Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Hokim Kholiqzoda welcomed the guests to the National Bank of Tajikistan and emphasized that cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan is developing in the spirit of strategic partnership and mutual interests, and the constant meetings of the leaders of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan have prepared a favorable ground for its further expansion.

The Head of Joint Stock Company “Bank Freedom Finance Kazakhstan" JSCAydos Zhumagulov thanked the management of the National Bank of Tajikistan for the warm welcome and elaborated on the activities of Freedom Holding Corp.

It was noted that Freedom Finance Group covers financial, broker, insurance, payment, mobile and transport organizations, and provides a wide range of digital banking services and products: digital mortgage, digital credit for the purchase of vehicles, salary projects, commercial credit, savings, Internet banking, etc., both in the Republic of Kazakhstan and other foreign countries.

During the meeting Aidos Zhumagulov noted that the Joint Stock Company "Bank Freedom Finance Kazakhstan" plans to expand the scope of its activities to provide financial digital services, he also expressed interest in opening a subsidiary bank or branch in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In turn, Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan noted that the banking legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan has created favorable conditions for the opening of foreign banks, their branches and representative offices.

"The National Bank of Tajikistan welcomes the initiative of Joint Stock Company "Bank Freedom Finance Kazakhstan" to open a subsidiary bank or branch in the Republic of Tajikistan, which will facilitate the attraction of capital from Kazakhstan to the economy of the Republic of Tajikistan and this initiative will be considered within the current legislation", - said Mr. Kholiqzoda.

In general, the meeting was held in the atmosphere of mutual understanding and the parties expressed their willingness to expand cooperation in the considered directions.
