Hokim Kholiqzoda met representatives of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and representatives of Moody's rating agency

On October 11, 2023, within the framework of the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group, which were held in the city of Marrakesh of the Kingdom of Morocco, Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Hokim Kholiqzoda held a working meeting with representatives of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC).

With a focus on expanding bilateral cooperation, during the meeting the parties discussed issues related to treasury, custodial services, asset management, other banking services, including the possibility of opening correspondent accounts for commercial banks, as well as expanding operations with them.

On the same day, Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Hokim Kholiqzoda met with representatives of Moody's rating agency.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the topical issues related to market activities, relations with business units, opportunities to expand the scope of cooperation and many more. It was noted that the negotiations in this direction would further continue in the spirit of mutual understanding.
