According to the official data for the eight months of this year, the inflation rate, as previous months, remains stable and has made 4.2%, that in comparison with the same period of last year has decreased by 4.3 percentage point. As a whole the inflation rate on August has made 1.3% and for the last 12 months has made 5.0%. Last analysis of specialists has shown that the above indicators are received mainly through the price rise for paid services for food and non-food products.
    Refinancing rate of the National Bank of Tajikistan which is one of the main instruments of monetary policy, from August 15 of this year has established on 6.5%.
